Our local Air America station...

...bites big wind.

Don't misunderstand - considering this is a profoundly conservative area, in a profoundly conservative state, we really need AAR here. Only problem, our local feed cuts off at 3pm for something called "The Andy Thomas Show". I understand that this is a local show, that it's been running quite a long time and it's a instituion, and the broadcaster would be leery of dropping it. But it pre-empts Randi Rhodes, and this annoys me. I was hoping to be able to hear Randi live, after years of listening to yesterday's MP3s on-line.

And do they carry the last hour, at least? Hell, no. It goes over to some yahoo blathering about sports for the last hour (6-7pm). One would think there would be someplace else to get that vital information from - say, the ESPN station that used to broadcast on 1230 AM, which was moved over to FM? Y'think?

At least I heard part of the "Best of Randi Rhodes" this afternoon; though I might disagree with her sometimes, I think the whole damn show is a "best of", and I wish they'd work something out.
