Still oblivious

Well, I'm sure by now Preznit Bush DOES know General Pervez Musharraf's name, but he came out with this gem today before his trip to Pakistan:

"I believe that a prosperous, democratic Pakistan will be a steadfast partner for America a peaceful neighbor for India and a force for freedom and moderation in the Arab world."

Um, I dunno about "prosperous", but can someone please point out to Bubble Boy that Musharraf became leader as result of a coup-d'etat? "Democratic" my ass.

EDIT: Crap, I missed a big point in Bubble Boy's comment. "ARAB world"?
