Well, THIS is odd

Just being a masochist and perusing the FAUX News.com version of Gen. People's Glorious Revolutionary Hero Petraeus' comments (at least THEY get Ambassador Qomi's name right), and came across this interesting bit:

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps has been under intense scrutiny by U.S. officials. In August, President Bush signed an executive order branding them as a “specially designated global terrorist.”

Um, last I heard, Bush was merely considering a "terrorist" label for the organization. I thought the Senate vote last month recommended a "terrorist" label. Odd that they would be recommending a course of action that had already happened.

I'm chalking this up to messy fact-checking on the part of FAUX; somebody evidently got ahold of the stories back in August when the State Department was suggesting the "terrorist" label for the IRGC was "imminent" and mis-read.
